•    Where are our products from?

We are a South American specialist virtual boutique. Our manufacturers and suppliers are sourced from all around South America with the majority being Brazilian. However we take care to ensure that they not only comply with the cocolush.com brand guidelines, but also International laws regarding working conditions.

•  How to choose a good quality bikini?

A good quality bikini is usually fully lined and is made of good quality Lycra or spandex material. It not only hugs your figure better but avoids unwanted sand getting where it shouldn’t. Most important of all stops it will stop the set from getting transparent and revealing what should be kept hidden. All our suits are lined and this specification can be double checked while reading a products description. Please note that if you are looking to minimize flabby areas choose suits with at least 15% spandex.

•    Care for your products.

Swimwear

Out of all the products we sell, swimwear is the one that has the hardest time if compared to any other item of clothing. They are exposed to sun gels, creams and oily lotions, chlorine, salt water and UV rays and should be cared for.

To ensure they last and look pretty you should ensure that you:
   - Hand wash them in cold water after each use.
   - Let them dry flat in the shade.
   - Do not store while wet.
   - Try to avoid spilling lotion over it as it may cause stains that are difficult to remove.
   - Try to avoid sitting directly on sand (specially if the costume is white) as very fine sand grains may be difficult to remove once caught within the stretchy fabric. If this happens, wash the costume as advised, allow it to dry completely and gently stretch the fabric allowing the bits to fall out.

Lingerie

   - Hand wash only.
   - Let them dry flat.
   - Do not store while wet.
   - Do not iron unless specified on the care instructions.

Jewellery

Given the variety of our suppliers and materials utilized in producing the jewellery we stock we suggest you refer back to the products pg description of your selected items in order to get the accurate care instruction for each specific product. 

- Silver: To maintain or restore the original look polish regularly with a felted cloth or certified silver cleaning product. If the piece contains stones or non-silver decoration avoid polishing those with the silver cleanser. Instead use a soft felted cloth to restore shininess.

- Silver plaited: To maintain or restore the original look polish regularly with a felted cloth or certified silver cleaning product. If the piece contains stones or non-silver decoration avoid polishing those with the silver cleanser. Instead use a soft felted cloth to restore shininess.

- Gold plaited: To maintain or restore the original look polish regularly with a felted cloth or certified gold cleaning product. If the piece contains stones or non-gold decoration avoid polishing those with the gold cleanser. Instead use a soft felted cloth to restore shininess.

- Resin: Polish regularly with a felted cloth. Occasionally moisturise with a vaseline base cream to restore shininess.

- Other metal: To maintain appearance avoid contact with liquids and clean with a soft cloth. Avoid spraying perfumes or creams over the piece.

- Wood and enamel: To maintain appearance avoid contact with liquids and clean with a soft cloth. Avoid spraying perfumes or creams over the piece.
